YouTube to email

YouTube digest: new uploads in one daily email

Follow public YouTube channels by URL instead of subscribing to another notification stream. Twigest collects new uploads, keeps the video link and folds them into the same scheduled briefing as your other sources.

Twigest sources page where a YouTube channel URL is added alongside RSS feeds and other sources

Channel URL, not a login

Add a youtube.com/channel/UC… URL. No Google account connection, no notification permissions, no watch history involved.

Uploads keep their link

Each entry links to the video, so the briefing tells you what appeared and you decide what deserves full attention.

Transcript enrichment, best effort

When a transcript is publicly available it can make the summary more useful. Transcripts are not guaranteed for every video.

One digest for everything

Channel uploads sit beside X accounts, keywords, subreddits, feeds and newsletters instead of becoming a separate ritual.

How it works

  1. 1Add the channelPaste the channel URL on the RSS & YouTube page. Public channels only.
  2. 2Uploads are collectedNew videos are picked up on Twigest's collection cycles with their title, link and publish time.
  3. 3The summary is preparedCollected items are summarised with your other sources, using public transcripts when they exist.
  4. 4Arrives on your scheduleOne email at your chosen time; Pro can also deliver to Telegram and Slack.

What it is not

  • Video is not transcribed for you: Twigest summarises what it can read, and a summary is not a substitute for watching.
  • Not real-time notifications: uploads reach the next scheduled briefing.
  • Public data only: private, unlisted or members-only videos are not collected.

Questions

How do I get YouTube uploads by email?

Add the public channel URL under RSS & YouTube. Twigest collects new uploads and includes them in your scheduled digest.

Do I have to connect my Google account?

No. Twigest reads only what is publicly available for the channel URL you add, so there is nothing to authorise in your Google account.

Does Twigest summarise the video?

It summarises the collected item and, when a public transcript exists, can use it for a more useful summary. Transcripts are best effort, not guaranteed.

Can I follow many channels?

Yes, each channel counts as one source: 10 on Starter, 30 on Pro, up to 100 on Agency.

Is this a replacement for YouTube notifications?

No. It is a scheduled digest for people who prefer one quiet briefing over live notifications.

How much does it cost?

Starter is $9/month or $90/year (10 accounts, 10 feeds, 3 keywords, 3 topics, daily digests). Pro is $19/month or $190/year (30 accounts, 30 feeds, 10 keywords, 5 topics, plus Telegram and Slack delivery). Both include a card-required 7-day trial; new users can see one preview without a card.
