Newsletter reader: your inbox, minus the newsletter pile

Twigest gives you an address to subscribe with. Everything sent there is collected, can be read inside Twigest without digging through your inbox, and is also available to your daily briefing.

Twigest Newsletters page listing received newsletters with sender, subject and preview, plus a search field

A dedicated address

Enable the newsletter mailbox and subscribe with the address Twigest shows you. Your personal inbox stops collecting signup noise.

Read and search in the app

The Newsletters page lists what arrived with sender, subject and preview, and searches across subject, body and sender.

Digest included

The same content is available to your scheduled briefing, so a newsletter can be summarised with everything else you follow.

History stays

Turning collection off stops new mail from being read; what already arrived stays readable.

How it works

  1. 1Enable the mailboxUnder RSS & YouTube, turn on the newsletter mailbox. Twigest provisions the address and shows it to you.
  2. 2Subscribe where you wantUse that address for the newsletters you want to keep. Forwarding from your existing inbox works too.
  3. 3Read in TwigestOpen the Newsletters page to read items, search them and jump to the original link.
  4. 4Or get the briefingLet the same content flow into your scheduled email digest instead of reading every issue.

What it is not

  • Text-first: Twigest stores the readable text of a newsletter. Attachments are not kept and complex HTML layouts are shown as plain text.
  • Not a mail client: it is built for newsletters, not for two-way email or conversations.
  • Collection is scheduled: new mail appears on the next collection cycle rather than instantly.

Questions

How does the newsletter reader work?

Twigest provisions a mailbox for your account. Newsletters sent to that address are collected, listed in the Newsletters page and available to your digest.

Can I search inside newsletters?

Yes. Search covers subject, body text and sender, and it runs on our side so it works across your newsletter history in the selected window.

Does it replace my email inbox?

It replaces the newsletter pile. Twigest only reads the address it gives you, so your main inbox is unaffected.

What happens to attachments and images?

Only the readable text is kept. Attachments are not stored, and rich HTML layouts are shown as plain text.

Do I lose history if I turn it off?

No. Turning collection off stops new mail from being read; earlier items stay in your reader.

How much does it cost?

Starter is $9/month or $90/year (10 accounts, 10 feeds, 3 keywords, 3 topics, daily digests). Pro is $19/month or $190/year (30 accounts, 30 feeds, 10 keywords, 5 topics, plus Telegram and Slack delivery). Both include a card-required 7-day trial; new users can see one preview without a card.

Try it with your own sources
