Create a Telegram Bot Token
Talk to @BotFather on Telegram, create a new bot, and copy the token it provides.
Paste the Token into Twigest
Go to Dashboard, open Channels, click Add Telegram, and paste your bot token.

Send /start to your new bot. Twigest auto-detects the chat ID and links your account immediately.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Telegram bot token?+
Yes, Twigest uses your own Telegram bot so digests appear to come from a bot you control. Creating one is free: open @BotFather in Telegram, type /newbot, follow the prompts, and copy the token. The entire process takes about two minutes.
Can I send to a channel instead of a chat?+
Yes. Add your bot as an administrator to a Telegram channel, then paste the channel username or numeric ID into Twigest instead of a private chat ID. Both public and private channels are supported on Pro and above.
How do I test the connection?+
After adding your bot token in the dashboard, click Send Test Message. Twigest posts a sample digest to your chat or channel so you can confirm everything is connected before the first real digest runs.
What if my chat ID changes?+
Chat IDs on Telegram are permanent for users and bots but can change if you convert a group to a supergroup. If messages stop arriving, open Channels in your dashboard, remove the old destination, and re-add it with the updated ID.
Is Telegram delivery on the Free plan?+
No — the Free plan delivers a weekly digest to email only. Telegram (and Slack) delivery starts on the Pro plan, which also unlocks daily digests and multiple Telegram destinations. Business adds spike alerts.
