Reddit digest: follow subreddits without living in the feed
Add a subreddit like r/dataisbeautiful and Twigest treats it as a source in the same daily briefing as your X accounts, keywords, RSS feeds and newsletters. Every item keeps its original Reddit link so you can read the thread and the comments yourself.

Write it the short way
r/webdev, /r/python or a full old.reddit.com link all work. Twigest normalises the reference to the public subreddit feed, so you never have to hunt for the .rss URL.
One briefing, many sources
Reddit posts sit next to your X accounts, keywords, RSS feeds, YouTube channels and newsletters instead of becoming yet another inbox.
Source links kept
Each line in the briefing links back to the original post, so a summary never becomes the only record you have.
Your schedule, not the feed's
Choose daily, weekdays or custom days and your delivery time. Reddit is collected on Twigest's collection cycles, not pushed at you in real time.
How it works
- 1Add the subredditOpen Sources and type r/name, or paste a Reddit URL. Feeds have their own slots: Starter allows 10 feeds and Pro 30.
- 2Twigest collects public postsThe public subreddit feed is read on Twigest's collection cycle. Private or quarantined subreddits are not readable.
- 3Your briefing is assembledCollected items are scored, grouped and summarised together with your other sources, and each one keeps its link.
- 4Delivered on scheduleEmail on Starter; email and Telegram on Pro. You pick the delivery time in Settings.
What it is not
- Not real-time: Twigest runs scheduled collection cycles, so a post can reach your briefing later than it appears on Reddit.
- Not complete coverage: fast-moving subreddits produce more posts than one briefing can carry, and Twigest does not guarantee every matching post is collected.
- Public subreddits only: private, quarantined or login-only communities are out of scope.
Questions
How do I get a Reddit digest by email?
Create an account, open Sources and add r/your-subreddit. Twigest reads the public subreddit feed and includes those posts in your scheduled briefing alongside your other sources.
Can I follow several subreddits?
Yes. Each subreddit uses one feed slot: Starter allows 10 feeds, Pro 30, and higher plans more.
Do I need a Reddit API key?
No. Twigest reads the public subreddit feed Reddit exposes for anyone, so there is no key to create and nothing to install.
Can I mix Reddit with Twitter/X and newsletters?
Yes. That is the point of the briefing: X accounts and keywords, subreddits, RSS feeds, YouTube channels and your newsletter mailbox all arrive in one email.
Is the Reddit digest real-time?
No. Twigest is a scheduled briefing, not a live alerting tool, and it does not promise real-time or complete coverage.
How much does it cost?
Starter is $9/month or $90/year (10 X accounts, 10 feeds, 3 keywords, 3 topics, daily digests). Pro is $19/month or $190/year (30 X accounts, 30 feeds, 10 keywords, 5 topics, plus Telegram delivery). Both include a card-required 7-day trial; new users can see one preview without a card.
